Liability Waiver & Service Agreement

The agreement you accept when you book a detail with us — plain language, no fine-print tricks.

Last updated: June 2026

By booking a service with Reclaimed Auto Care ("Reclaimed Auto Care," "we," "us"), you agree to the terms below in addition to our Terms of Service. This agreement exists to set honest expectations about what mobile detailing can and can't fix, and to protect both you and us.

Vehicle condition

Every vehicle ages differently. Before we begin, we'll point out anything we notice — chips, cracks, faded or brittle trim, weak clear coat, prior touch-up work, aftermarket tint or wraps, etc. By proceeding with service, you acknowledge:

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects that exist before we arrive, including but not limited to paint chips, swirl marks, clear coat failure, cracked or brittle trim, upholstery tears, or stains that have set in over time.
  • Some restoration techniques (clay bar, polishing, steam, extraction) carry an inherent — though small — risk of revealing or slightly worsening damage that was already present beneath the surface, such as failing clear coat or already-compromised trim. We use professional judgment and will stop and discuss with you before proceeding if we identify this risk.
  • We are not responsible for personal items, electronics, or valuables left in the vehicle. Please remove these before your appointment.
  • Paint correction and ceramic coating results depend on the vehicle's existing paint condition. We do not guarantee removal of all scratches, swirls, or imperfections, and we'll always set realistic expectations during your consultation.

Our commitment

Nothing in this agreement limits our responsibility for damage caused by our own negligence or improper technique. We are licensed and insured, we use manufacturer-safe products and tools, and if we damage your vehicle through our own error, we will make it right.

Mobile service & site access

  • We are working toward purchasing our own self-contained water and power equipment, but do not have it yet. Until we do, you agree to provide safe, legal access to the vehicle at the scheduled time and location, including a reasonably level surface and access to a nearby power outlet and water source (such as a hose spigot).
  • We may decline or pause a service if conditions are unsafe (severe weather, unstable surface, aggressive animals, etc.) and will work with you to reschedule.
  • We are not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, or other property arising from normal use of our equipment, but we take care to protect your property and will flag any concerns before starting.

Photo & video release

We love sharing our work. Unless you tell us otherwise in writing (email is fine), you agree that Reclaimed Auto Care may photograph or film your vehicle before, during, and after service and use those images — of the vehicle only, not you personally — for our website, social media, and marketing. We will never publish your name, address, or license plate without separate permission. You can opt out of photography for your appointment at any time by telling your technician or emailing us before your visit.

Payment & cancellations

See our Terms of Service for booking, cancellation, and membership billing terms. This agreement does not replace those terms — both apply together.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Acknowledgment

Booking an appointment — online, by phone, or in person — constitutes acceptance of this agreement on behalf of yourself and the vehicle owner.
